Hidden battery power

Is it true there is a battery back up power if your battery is nearly dead? Someone told me there is a code or something you can put in the S3 to get a bit more battery power until you can charge it up. Would be handy if out and battery is nearly dead....

It's called a Backup Battery. I have 2 of them.

I've never had the need for it, but I love the three battery cycle I have after buying some Anker batteries and a charger from Amazon I haven't had to charge my phone since August!
