Hide soft keys?

Hello I am new to this site and recently rooted my HTC One (M8). Shortly after rooting I downloaded an app called full!screen which hides the status bar and the soft keys bar. After that, I downloaded GMD Gesture Control which allows you to make your own gestures and choose what they do (I am trying to make my phone completely gesture based, no soft keys, buttons etc.). SO, my problem is that I want to hide the soft keys, but not the notification bar. Any apps that would allow this? P.S. If this is in the wrong section or place or whatever, I apologize, because like I said before, I am new.

GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys app will hide the soft keys but not the notification bar.

Oops, I posted the incorrect app. The correct app is GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys. It requires that your device is rooted. Again I am very sorry for my error

Thanks,

I like this but is there an app which completely disables the soft keys altogether? Or maybe one that adds the status bar since full!screen removes it?

HMMMM, I don't know. Maybe someone else does.

Viper Rom has the option to hide the soft keys. Works well.

Try Ultimate Dynamic navbar (UDN) and you will need xposed installed on your device. This app also has an paid version called UDN pro and it eats lesser RAM then other apps also support various gestures.

You can find Viper ROM on XDA in the HTC M8 forums. I know Renovate ROM also has that abilitity. I recently switched to it from Viper. I use PIE to popup a home, back, app switcher dialog. Look around the XDA developer forums in the M8 Android development section. You will need to be rooted and likely s-off though
