Was looking for this all around Web, and couldn't find anything...
I'm sure it's well known, but I just randomly stumbled on this feature of stock lg g3 rom. So, if might help someone, and for others I'll be just stupid noob :)
But I'm happy I can use all 5,5 inch of my screen without root.
So,
Settings>display>home touch buttons>hide home touch buttons, and select desired apps.
Love it.
I'm sorry if I just wanted 2 mins of your time if you knew that, but I'm happy if I made someone else happy.
This thread would make my life easier if it existed :)
What I learned? Research your phone to love it even more :)

Good tip, thanks! I wonder if that's available on all versions of the G3, since some carriers are notorious for turning off certain features.

I have this on T-mobile. I found it the first day just playing with the settings.

Using Verizon version and it works so should work on all of them

Youtube isn't showing up as one of the apps. Sometimes full-screen videos in youtube won't get rid of the nav buttons and it drives me bonkers

I think it was good that you made this thread. Some people will see this and learn.

It's a great feature that any phone with onscreen buttons should have.
