High Ram Usage After 4.4.4 Update

After I did the 4.4.4 update, my ram usage is leveling at about 1.3-1.4 GB. I have done factory reset, and a few cache wipes with no luck in lower ram usage. The cache wipes say successful, but I noticed when I choose to reboot in recovery mode, it errors and then reboots normally. Is anyone else getting error when rebooting? Thanks

Android wants to be using as much RAM as possible. With a 2GB phone, 1.3-1.4GB is a bit low - I'd rather see something closer to 1.7GB in use. Read Multitasking the Android Way. As a system software developer myself (for over 40 years), I know not to argue with the person who designed the software - if that's what she says, that's what is. (If your phone was using a LOT less RAM before the update, that may have been a problem.)

Try disabling the "Samsung push service" app
