Simply rooting it will not allow you to put apps on the sd(for any android above 4.1) you have to mod it. Check the xda forums.

I'm having a problem with the headphone jack. If I use a "Standard" cell phone headset, when I push the plug all the way in, I get NO SOUND, and the video stops.
I have a standard headset with no mic, and it works okay.
If I pull the cell phone headset partway out, it seems work work fine. I check the owners manual, and from the picture, it looks like the standard cell phone headset should work.
So.....Back to walmart and exchange? OR, am I doing something wrong?

Bought two a week ago, and (for some reason) am using it more than my Nexus 7. So far, it's perfect. The other one is still in the box. If I wanted to, what is the best way to duplicate my first S7 PRO to the 2nd (new) one?
Also, I've read lots of forums about this, and have not read anything about the S7 PRO having a magnetic sleep sensor/switch. I tried my Nexus 7 case on it to see if it slept but it didn't, but the sensor/magnet could be in a different place. Does anyone know if there is a magnetic sleep switch in the S7 PRO?
Lastly, the Kingsoft Office that comes with it is an older version that what is on the Google Play Store, but doing an update check in the app says no updates. What is the best way to update my Office suite to the latest version? Do I have to remove the original and download the one on the Google Play Store? Is the included version essentially the same, just slightly older?

As far as duplicating, go to the google play store and select the apps you want to install to the new device. You have a selection of what devices you have .. phone, Hisense1, Hisense2, etc.

All 3 charging up, I also put on a ZaggHD screen protector on all 3 of them...Zagg doesn't make one for the S7 pro, but the kindle fire one works great as it's the same style screen and doesn't cover the front camera.

a bit off-topic here ... but I had a GF with 3 boys 9,12,12 (twins) .. 25 years down the road ..we have a great family. OH, and the Sero7 Pro was the smartest tech purchase I have ever made ...
My tablet works great, but I notice that the edge of the glass where it meets the frame is raised slightly and u are able to push the edge back down level with the frame. I know this is being picky, but does anyone else have this issue?
Its in the corners by the speakers, almost like there is nothing below the glass and almost all around the screen except at the top with all of the ports it very solid up there.
Like others, I'm having a problem with the microsd door. Before I had cards in the doors were solid and perfect. After adding microsd cards the door is bulged out and unable to lay flat. If you try to secure the door it unseats the card. This is on both of the tablets. It's not enough to take back but I can just see my semiOCD kids picking at the doors.

there are two kinds of hp.one is usa type,the other is Europ type.
Different type has different pin jack.

above android 4.2,it dose not support move app to sdcard,it is android native behaviour!
Anyone notice some of the quick launch power toggles don't work? When I pull down the settings bar from the top right of the screen and long press Bluetooth it does not toggle it on it only opens the Bluetooth settings and I can turn it on from there the same happens with WiFi. Anyone else having this issue?
