Home screens... Let's see what you got.

aaaaaugh im loving dock4droid!! :( so what makes this better? :)

global s3, UK. Ask me anything and ill reply even if its just an intelligent (or stupid) guess ;)

Well, for me it makes it much better because the main thing I've been trying to to is find a easy and fast way to switch between and close apps, i set his new app to open an app I have called Recent Apps which as it says opens the recent apps stock app, I already have easy ways to open other apps with swipe pad which has a sort of quick apps function in which you can set up favorites and select apps from there

As well as having an app drawer that is easily accessible

And I also have smart Tasker on my right side which does the same thing except it doesn't have a quick tab of apps like swipe starter

So all I needed was a way to open recent apps without having to open one of those two to access it

And using this new swipe starter, it's the fastest way to boot the recent apps section outside of the physical home button

Idk if u will like it, but i used droid4dock for a bit and didn't like it too much because of the interface

With swipe starter I can just open my recent apps and have the same thing as the stock

Check it out, u may like it better than dock4droid

i might give it a try but dock4droid is in my top 15apps (maybe 10) of the year so far... it just works flawlessly for me :)
i used smart taskbar on my last phone and it virtualy replaces home screen but i love the simple and pimpness of dock4droid lol.
and was it you who suggested Wave Control mate? thats my #1 utility app of the year :)

Yea I still haven't got wave control yet, I've been using some other proximity app but stopped using it because it's not as responsive as it should be

Hey. The widget is APW. There are seperate Twitter and Facebook Widgets but this one is the combined timeline of both to save space. There are many Widgets I've tried for the transparent look and this is by far the smoothest and best behaved.

Really? This must be the paid version because mine looks absolutely nothing like that

Yep, paid version. I have it too. Well worth it but it would be nice to have an update to add new widgets every now and then. (Google+)

Very nice. I'm new to all this on the S3. Would you tell me how or what you use to the get the words at the bottom of your screen like "phone, text, ect."

Thanks!

Those are text icons from this icon pack... [ICONS]aSmoothStar Icons Release! - xda-developers

Other info:
Rooted/CM10 (I keep going from stock to root to stock to root, haha.)
Clock and date is the "ClockQPro" widget (there is also a free version)
Calendar is "Simple Calendar Widget" (free)
Weather Forecast is "Weather Eye" (free)

I was attempting a "futuristic" look, trying to utilize widgets rather than icons. With no wallpaper the text just pops and feels like it's floating on the black glass slab. I'm new to all this too, coming from 5 years with iOS and no options.
