All new roms are going up,this is basically the final versions,i will still provide support and do tweaking and make stuff for the roms.In the near future i plan to get a scaleable kernel built from source.Lite versions will be last up'd.

Changes in the final version?

any chance of getting a mirror of the latest rom somewhere? I have no tried 4 times with 4shared and everytime I keep have to go through the same wait process. Now up to 390 seconds.

Not sure what I've done wrong but the I tried installing the IcedHB version. I did a full wipe and when I restart, it gets stuck at the "Now" screen and then will loop after a few minutes sitting there.

Edit: Finally got it working after the 3rd wipe. Guess maybe not everything was wiped the first couple of times.

I know live wallpapers aren't really designed for the Hero but I did have them working before on a fresh rom and I assume you got them to work (maybe buggy, but working) for you to post the .zip for them. I've installed twice (IcedHoneyBun) and haven't been able to get them to work. I thought maybe with overclocking they would stand a better chance of working, but no luck.

When I choose which live wallpaper I want and it comes to the preview screen, I just get a blank white screen. If I 'set wallpaper' I just get a black wallpaper. Any ideas?

Also, is there a way to uninstall that .zip now that it's installed or would I just have to reflash IcedHoneybun?

I don't run them so i couldn't really say,ill flash them and see if theres anyway to make them better.
Yeah, to uninstall just reflash.

So, what's the plan now? I see the ZenHero ROM you had a hand in, but just want to know when I should be checking back around to see what greatness you have created (Legend Froyo?) aside from theming. Thanks again for the solid ROM.

also, Dropbox mirror for HoneyBun420 if you want, or I can take it down. 4shared kills me after a while with the waits.

Fighting, LOL, its a knock down drag out, but I am sure you will succeed....

I've been on odexed 420 for a few days, and have gotten audio loss on 80%+ of calls occuring between 20 seconds and 2 hours in to the call.

I just noticed it comes with the 2.6.29-d30020a8, which if i'm not mistaken was from one of the leaked RUU's? I'm going to extract the one from the official 2.1 update and pair it with this ramdisk and see what happens =P

That would be cool if you did.

2.6.29-bc0d2cff
htc-kernel@and18-2 #1

There it is, with honeybun ramdisk.

I flashed the boot.img, then pushed the wlan.ko separately on my phone, so I haven't actually tested the flashable, but I've tested everything inside it.

Thanks NfiniteFX45 for giving me a rom to kang it from. <3

EDIT: Fixes audio loss issues with the original (iced)honeybun.v420 kernel.

I'm still running your good old trusty Honeybun V.2-Lite and I still like it, very solid and fast rom! In my quest for getting the most time out of my battery I came across a new battery tweak by Collin-ph over at XDA. One of the specifics for using it is:

"If you want to try this tweak in another rom, your rom will need a /system/etc/init.local.rc file-- that's where the service is started.
Additionally, it won't do much good unless it's on a clockable kernel.
There are other prerequisites such as sh existing in /system/bin but generally speaking if it starts up, it should work. If your rom has no /system/etc/init.local.rc, you can add the file and "import" it (I believe), within the init.rc of the boot image, but it'll require a little work."

Beezy, can you tell me if the rom I'm running is compatible? I don't remember if I ever changed out the kernal but currently I'm running 2.6.34-GoDmOdE-Darchshizz-OC ameer@darchstar #4

If i remember right there isn't a init.local.rc in system/etc.It wouldn't be hard to add that. Also would need to add a sh file.
I think the .34 kernel is one of the newer kernels that darchstar put together. If you could please link me to the thread id like to have a read and if you get it all set up or need help ill do what i can.It does sound like it would be too hard to get set up.
