new issue..overclock widget won't accept my parameters. it stays at 19 or 760

Did you go into advanced settings for oc widget,click define settings? What seems to be the issue with wifi tether?Does it start but not work?

Where can I learn how to tinker with the kernel and rom builds?

I'm not a programmer... self learner.... action script, flash 5 and mx, and old school basic. Use to hack dtv cards and wrote scripts with advanced cloaking.

I have the iced honeybun version and I flashed the su patch...did that mess up anything...i read where that patch was just for honeybun and when I read it i'd already flashed it.

It shouldn't give you a problem all you did was replace the su app with the same su app.

I'm sorry i'm new to Android period. But I have another rom flashed already so can i Just wipe and then install Iced honeybun? Also that other file you said you forgot to put in and have as a attachment at the end of your first post, do i just flash that like the rom after i've already rebooted? I just want a fast stock looking rom and this looks like its it.

Thanks. All you need to do is wipe data,dalvik,ext,then flash the rom.If you are installing IcedHoneyBun then you don't need to flash the su patch,you'll need to flash the facebook patch its at bottom of post2.
To flash the fbpatch flash it just like a rom,but without having to wipe anything.

Yeap its deodexed.It has a couple little issues that are minor ones.If you try to dl the widgets from htc it won't and some have reported that it fc's the first time you press people.Ive been running it since i put it up its pretty smooth besides that,even better if your into oc'ing

Haha don't worry about ask as many as you need to.Its better to ask then wonder. With the friend version you don't have to flash any of the patchs i rememberd to put it all in there that time.lol

I'm having some issues with the browser/data connection. Everytime I leave the browser for a few minutes and come back the browser flashes the notification that my data setting is gone and starts from whatever page I started from (eg: I start on Facebook, end on CNN, leave browser for two minutes come back its on Facebook). I had the same issue with kool aid before.

Wow that's a new that I never had. Like a full shut down then restart or just flashes the white htc screen then resets?

sup guys this is my first post here....I just want to say thanks to beezy and ask for some help....

first of all, I just wanted to thank you beezy for creating this rom for us...I tried a few others on xda and then found yours per someone's suggestion on androidforums.com and it is BY FAR the best...smoothest, snappiest, etc...and it keeps the stock look/feel which is a huge plus for me...so thanks dude, I am extremely grateful!

....and now comes the part where I need some help, lol...I've read through the thread and couldn't find anything so I gotta ask

1) Since I flashed this rom (IcedHoneyBun) I can no longer receive picture text messages (MMS I guess)...the only thing I have done was remove a few of the sprint apps (nascar, football) and also footprints (I would have just downloaded IcedHoneyBunLite but that one took off the IM app and Teeter which I use so I went for the full rom instead) ...anyways, did I mess something up? Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can receive MMS again?

2) This one might not be a big deal, but I tried to update profile & also update PRL just now (in an attempt to fix the messaging problem) and it either force closes or just continues trying to update without anything happening...is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks once again to beezy, like I said, HoneyBun has completely crushed the competition - just a really sick rom all around...and thanks in advance to beezy or anyone else reading that may have a suggestion for these errors I have come across. PEACE OUT YO!
