Honor Launch on Dec 5th.

Go with the 12.9! Go big or go home!
I've actually owned that one before and it's huge! Very cumbersome to carry around. I'd probably opt for the new 10.5 inch pro or the 9.7 inch pro if I can afford one of them. They are really expensive which if I get that $500 gift card that will give me $500 towards an iPad as I'm not totally sure what a celluar 9.7 pro iPad runs. I just know I need one pretty bad. I like watching movies on it and using it instead of a laptop but however I'm not opposed to the 12.9 inch as the only drawback is it's pretty big to lug around with me once you put a case on it. It was great for movies though. I did enjoy that part of it. I remember watching the Force Awakens on it that 12.9 inch and it was awesome.

Ah ok. Yeah it's pretty large. A 10" size would be more portable

Yeah that 12.9 inch doesn't sound big but it was tough to Port around I found. The 9.7 is the ideal size although if I were to find a deal on the 12.9 I would definitely still get one again. It was a great tablet but pretty big. I enjoyed watching movies and doing media things with it for sure. I'd definitely get another though if I could find it cheap enough which is doubtful with Apple products.

How cheap is cheap enough?

Probably find a decent deal on like offerup or Craigslist. Used conditions of course

I picked up a refurbished iPad pro 12.9 128 gb for $500 a year ago from best buy. Came with a tempered glass screen protector and was in mint condition. You can probably find one for less now.

Well what ever the iPad pro 12.9 retails for if I could find one that I could use my $500 dollar gift card to buy would be my idea of cheap. I've looked up the celluar iPad pro 9.7 2016 model and it runs exactly $500 or so. That does not count the plan I'll have to get for it to have internet access without WiFi though. I'd ideally like to locate an iPad either 9.7 or mini 8 inches for around $400 in celluar then have enough left over to create and purchase a plan through cricket or any other stand alone carrier for service. Like cricket doesn't charge taxes or carrier fees. If I purchase a $45 dollar plan then that's exactly what I pay. No more. So I'd put my iPad on like a $30 dollar plan knowing that I would be using it more on wifi but still have the option to take it with me and still have internet access at all times on a cheap monthly plan. I'm hoping that $500 gift card I get allows me to locate a a celluar iPad and then be able to still pay for my first month of service on a cheap plan. I just don't know if $500 bucks will do it with an iPad which I would definitely want if I do indeed get the iPhone bc they are compatible. Meaning I can take calls on my iPad and text from it to along wirh face time. I remember that being wonderful options to have when I was with apple and had both a iPhone and iPad. The only option to do that with android is through like a Samsung tab S2 running off a Verizon plan bc their text message app acts similar to imessage but I'm not going back to Verizon again for that. Too expensive. I need to check with a couple other stand alone carriers to see what their cheap plans run to put on an iPad monthly.

Oh really? That's excellent actually. Yeah I think I'll have to find an open box or buy one as a refurbished model to make it work although I rather would like to get one new. It doesn't have to be the pro. A mini will work too but I prefer the 9.7 iPad pro if possible.

You should to check all the options that you need before committing

Ah ok. You can definitely find one under $500 then

Oh that's great to hear. I've really not researched it yet as I wont get that gift card in for about 90 days after I order the phone which is a long time but at least I know it's coming. Then I'll start looking for one to buy and find a cheap monthly plan for it too. Hopefully I'll be able to get the 9.7 inch pro. If not a mini 4 will be fine too. Just something I can watch movies and media on is fine for me. Ideally I'd like to get the 9.7 inch as it's the best size but still very portable to carry around.

I think you will be able to find a pro for that price.

For the $500 gift card, you'll definitely be able to afford one
