It seems that I can only add 4 apps to a home screen folder. When I get to that number it will not allow me to add more
Is there any way to add more?

Also, is there any way to next folders?
I have android version 4.4.2 on an LG G3
Thanks

Instead of the launcher that came in the phone, try using Nova Launcher. My largest folder has 9 apps in it, but I'm sure I could add a lot more.

How does a launcher work? Will I have to move all my shortcuts or do anything special to get it to work?

It will ask if you want to transfer from your home screen. I have 15 apps in one folder and it's in the dock. Love Nova Launcher.

Wow, 15 in one folder. I like that!

What happens if I remove the launcher? Will it put my shortcuts back on the home screen just as before?

Also, are you using the free Nova Launcher? I can't see the high cost of the paid version

I have 25 apps in a folder on my home screen using stock launcher....

Not sure what your issue is?

Nova will import your existing home page structure, but I don't believe it will rewrite to the stock home page if you later delete it. The free version does most of what the pay version does, so give it a try and see if you like it.

In all honesty, though, I have a hard time calling $4 "high" in relation to a $600 smartphone.

I also have many apps in a folder using the stock launcher - I try not to have more than 16 apps per folder, because when you add more apps to the same folder, then you have to scroll within that folder to see the rest.

I am lazy I guess! :D

I forgot that I changed my home screen grid to 6x6. I would hate scrolling!

EDIT: For a list of names for those games, just request via PM. ;)

I forgot about the grid change option - I might just do that, because as I said, I am just lazy! :D

Oh, thanks for the game list offer - I only have two games, and don't play much - Need for Speed and Drag Race - I'm a car nut!

I am seriously considering rooting but am not sure what application to accomplish it. I have seen stump, purpledrake and a few phone apps but am not sure what is the easiest and most reliable. I also want to have the ability to unroot if I want to

What bothers me about Stump is this post:

"Also, if you unroot after rooting, you will need to flash your phone back to 100% stock in order to re-root. This is by design currently.
This root only works on unmodified phones."

That is true, but I would imagine the only reason you would want to unroot is if you sold or returned the phone, which you should probably flash back to stock anyways. And given the modifications that root access can give you (depending on how much change you require), flashing back to stock is the most ideal unroot method available.

But another method (depending on your firmware version) is IOroot, which I used in the past and it was very simple.
