How amazing is the Note 3?

I went from a Razr also and this phone is amazing...saving my eye sight and no more headaches is a major plus

This device is saving my eye sight=no more headaches= perfect for me...The only negative is the spell checker..have to manually correct it on simple works...for instance when I first used it and tried to write wifi it would keep changing it to wife...thought that was really stupid and also had to manually ad words it wouldn't allow...that was just too puritanical for my liking...Samsung needs to grow up and get real

Maybe it's because the words were misspelled? The correct spelling is Wi-Fi.

Perhaps it would be helpful for people to learn to spell before blaming software and teaching auto-correct to misspell. *shrugs*

I had the bb series, OG Evo, Evo 4G, S2, S3, Note 2 and now the Note 3... This phone is a 11!

A Note 3 & a Wrangler, life is Grand.

Very happy with my note 3. I came from IPhone 4S and like the N3 much better. I really like the bigger screen.

Because I have already did 2 factory resets per Samsung and Verizon and Verizon is wanting me to do another before we can proceed. And after resetting it takes me at least a week to get everything just how I want. I would have been fine if after the second reset they would have swapped but no they want to try something else now.

I'm afraid this is an example of where Apple does things right.
Phone screwing up? Here's a new one.
Back up the old one with icloud or itunes, restore the new one from the backup and it's like a clone of your original phone. Up and running in minutes.

  1. At home, in Indiana, it is worse: my sister lives next door to me and every call has been terminated prematurely.
  2. My mom lives a five-minute drive from me and I cannot talk to her at all on the Note 3. The calls terminate almost immediately after connecting, if they connect at all.

Sorry, I'm not making light of your issues, but I had to LOL at the complaint that the phone drops calls that are only going next door. The distance to the other party is pretty irrelevant. It's the distance to the cell towers and quality of signal that matter.

Actually, you are making light of my issues. However, no worries; after talking with a Verizon rep, I decided to keep the Note 3 for a few days and it began picking up strong signals from Chicago and no longer has problems with phone calls.

Hopefully my new Note 3 will continue to reliably handle phone calls and, for now, I like it a lot and rate it a 10.

This is the phone that I had hoped the HTC Thunderbolt would be. In its stock state, it does things that I had to root the HTC Thunderbolt to do. I do not know enough about it yet, but it is looking like I may never need to root it!

Glad you stuck it out. It really it's an amazing (but sometimes bewildering and complex) phone.

I just brought my Note 3 home today about noon and have not put it down since then. I rate this phone a solid 10. I love the screen, my LTE and Wifi have been rock solid and the phone is ridiculously fast. On top of that it even makes phone calls. What more could you want?

This phone was a replacement for a Galaxy Nexus. I used to carry my iPhone 5 (work phone) around with me in my back pocket in case I wanted to take good pictures. However, with this camera there is no reason for carting that around either.

10/10. This is an outstanding device. Only better thing will be kitkat (4.4) so that tap to pay w/ google wallet can work. other than that, I am constantly amazed by this device (coming off droid4, so very old). Speed, memory, apps all there - just about flawless. Handwriting features are incredible. I've had only a little trouble with the search feature (on device) for which a reboot fixed it. Could not be more satisfied in the several weeks I've had the device. I use w/ otterbox commuter .. not quite as nice as without a case, but protects fairly well. Verizon in NJ.
