Does any one has these extended batteries Laza Sprint HTC Evo 4G 3500mah Extended Battery or Gorilla Gadgets 3500MAH Evo Battery (Evo Extended Life Battery). Both of them cost half the price of Seideo ..

I probably would trust them as well as i would Seideo. Reviews for the Laza battery i am reading point that they are getting an average of a day and a half without using the phone. On my Seideo i can get almost 3 days with light usuage. But always on average 2 days with moderate usage. Plus if you look on Amazon, these are on sale, so they still cost the same as the Seido in the first place.

The gorilla one however, i am finding great reviews for over at androidforums.com But i do not use this.

Reason I asked as both Laza and Gorilla are half the price of Seideo . I was wondering why is that. All the batteries are made in CHINA so what makes Seideo special.

How heavy is your phone with Seideo 3500 mAh battery..

With the battery, it doesnt add too much weight. But me personally, i prefer the phone to feel kind of heavy. I dont like how some of the Galaxy S phones feel so light, they feel fake or like they will break after some usage.

Seido has just been around longer and have really made a name for themselves in turn of the products and customer service. And plus everywhere where i saw the other batteris being sold, they were also on sale for some reason, as does seideos batteries go on sale as well

You will not be disappointed. It takes a few full charge and discharge cycles to get the full potential of the battery.

How many full charge and discharge cycles I have to do to get out of 3500mah . How many hours are you getting out of this....

I took me about 4 of 5 cycles before i got the full potential. Right now im almost at 2 days with moderate usage. The most i got was about 56 hours on light usage.

Phone was fully charged at 11:00 AM and I used it for GPS, little bit of email sms and its down to 23 % at 4:30 . So far I got 2h 20 min out of 3500 mAh .

It drained pretty quickly today , I guess I have to go through 4 or more cycles before the usage goes up .....

Once it's fully cycled, you can get about 40 hours if you don't use it much. I could go about 30 hours but tend to charge it over night. 8 am, off the charger. 9 pm, on to the charger and I still have over 50% with heavy use. Of course these hours depends on what you call heavy use and varies for everyone. All I know is I can go all day without worrying about running out of juice. It's a monster of a battery.

btw, I charge mine on a external charger and it's a Seideo

I think the whole purpose of buying extended battery is to use them more and not worry about the dead phone..
I charge mine on a charger which came with the phone.

So is anyone seeing problems with the $10 ebay batteries?

I want something I can use internet non stop for 12-15 hours straight. Then it can go on the charger.

How long is it taking to charge the 3500 with the phone charger to full charge?

Gorilla Gadget Batterys, no go. After a week of cycling, no good. I am returning it today. I just ordered a Sedio, hopefully more luck with that one.

Got Sedio and didnot get 8 hrs out of it yet . It takes 8-9 hrs to full charge with the wall charger..

Laza 3500. Have it for a week as of tomorrow. Juice Plotter shows that I unplugged the phone at 6:30 this morning. The two biggest hits on power were two one hour trips using gps. I'm still unplugged and have 43% showing.

Seidio 3500

I recv'd it yesterday charged for 12hrs thru the night. First use today, I got 8hrs. Its suppose to get better as the days go by. We'll see about that. Update tomorrow.
Day 2: 100% at 11:30a, 50% at 5:55p
Day 3: 100% at 6am, 5% at 5:15p

No Bueno!

I may just return it, get my $70 back and deal with the stock battery.

I only got less than 8 hrs out of it but in just 4 hrs battery from 100% to 50% thats a lot of drop ....................

I would take a look in your manage applications menu and see your running apps and stop those that you dont need. This should give you a big boost in life.

First day I had my Sedio, I got about 18 hours out of it. Now it's in the 20's to 30 hours if I don't charge it with good use. It would be over 40 hours if I never use it which I have tried. I've never gone on empty on a full days use and that's all that matters to me.

I've never charged my phone plugged into the wall. I charge the battery on a external battery charger. So if your getting less then 10 hours out of this battery, it's probably not your battery but how your charging it.
