I haven't found a way to back up my contacts yet, since Kies 3 has been fazed out and Smart Switch doesn't seem to work.

How are you backing up your contacts??

Thank you.

Once you import all your contacts to Google contacts you never have to worry about the whole process again, they just live in the cloud get saved in the cloud and sync to any device.

I use Exchange and always have my contacts wherever I am.

Google contacts is a good way to go regardless of platform. On iOS now, but looking forward to coming back to the Android world. I've been using Google contacts (contacts.google.com) as my contact storage location of choice for years since rooting and custom romming a Hero back in the day. Also note that if you don't like google (but then why Android) other email services also offer the same contact backup as well.

Another vote for Exchange / office365. Use Nine and all will be happy in contact world.

Thanks

I tried to download Easy switch from the Play Store and it said my phone wasn't compatible. Then when I went through the welcome email from Samsung, it had a link that worked for it. It worked like a charm for all contacts, music, photos, messages and phone logs.
