how can i bypass my lock screen on s9+ im locked out

hello, so im stupid and i set up a new password for my new phone and then set up the finger print scanner, well long story short i forgot the password and was then prompted for it. also i cant lose my info on the phone and i dont have the back up because it was traded in. someone please help.

Long story short: you can’t, and for good reason.

If you could do it, a thief could do it. Then they would have access to all the information on your phone that you set up fingerprint and password access to, which would defeat the purpose of setting those things up in the first place.

They'd also have easy access to your email, which means it wouldn't be hard to reset passwords for things like online banking or other accounts you have.

So no, there's no way to bypass the password without a factory reset.
