How can I change the shape of my photos in the gallery? (Samsung Galaxy S6)

The phone has the timeline mode selected for the gallery, but now whenever I go through the timeline of photos, they're not square anymore. Now, each image has the shape of the whole image splayed out. How can I change it back so all of the images are boxed in date order from new to old?

If you're using stock gallery .. open it ... click on the triangle "Top left" .. drop down menu ..
and click Time .

Well it's already on the timeline setting, I want the picture sizes are different, and I want all of them to be square.

Pinch in or unpinch with your fingers to change how many tiles are displayed on the page. Pinch in and the pictures get smaller.
The way they are now, you have two pictures side by side. When you pinch in, you can make them 4, 6 or 8 wide.
