How can I delete Excel files from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2

I have several Excel files that are on my phone, either the phone or my SD card, I do not know how to delete these files.
I deleted content and saved, but the file is unchanged.

Welcome to Android Central! How are you trying to delete? Use the My Files app or some other file manager app to locate the file and delete it.
