How can I delete the events and appointments on Verizon's calendar App

Changed phones and the teck transferred my calendar(s). I want to keep the Google Calendar but on my phone all the events and appointments have two listing and one is not from Google. My computer only shows google and nothing is dubled! how can I delete only the Verizon/Samsung calendar data?

Welcome to Android Central! As long as your events are safely in your Google Calendar in the cloud, then go to Settings>Apps, tap Menu>Show System, then Calendar Storage, then Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now open the Calendar app again and give it a few seconds to sync with your Google account. Do you now see just your Google Calendar events?
