How can I edit the icon grid size on Android 7.0 Galaxy S7?

I just updated my OS with the most recent overhaul and I can't find the settings to change from 3 columns to 4 columns to fit more apps. I also can't figure out how to form groups.

Touch and hold a blank park of the home screen, then select home screen settings select grid size

and to form a 'folder' (I think that's what you mean by 'group') touch and hold on an app icon and drag it on top of another app icon. That should create a folder for you to name. You may have to play some cat and mouse games, as you have to get it just right or the icons will simply move about your screen rather than creating the folder. I did eventually get several folders made, but not without a few choice words as the icons chased around my screen.
