How can I enable English on my ZenFone 2?

I want to enable English on my ZenFone 2

I live in Thailand and I just bought a ZenFone 2 at a local store. After fully charging the battery, I am now ready to set the thing up--except the OS is all in Thai. I read Thai slowly, but it's my phone and I really want it to be in English. What do I need to do?
This is the first smart phone I've ever owned. I'm 68 and know my way around computers.

Welcome to AC.

When you set it up, you will be given the option to choose your preferred language very early in the set-up procedure. If you can read Thai, you should get that far very easily, and then you will be able to choose English.

If you are able to read Thai and can navigate to the settings, this can be also changed in Apps/Settings/Language & Input/Language/English
