Android Central Question

I recently bought an android tablet (running android 9). I need to be able to share my screen on zoom for an upcoming conference. I cannot figure out how to screen-cast my android tablet to my laptop (windows 10). I've tried many online tutorials, but not none of them work. What am I missing? I have swiped down on my screen, but screen-casting is not an option. I cannot find any screen-casting options in my settings either.

Just to clarify - do you want to cast to a larger screen in a room so others can see or do you want to share your screen through the Zoom meeting?

The former would be a feature of the device (what tablet?), the latter would be a feature of Zoom...

Welcome to Android Central! Screen casting is typically to a Chromecast connected to a TV (or a monitor with an HDMI input) -- it's not intended to cast to a laptop. Are you unable to join the Zoom conference directly on the tablet, using the Zoom app?

Which tablet do you have? Is it a Samsung tablet, or some other manufacturer?
