How can I fix a wireless connectivity issue?

Wireless connectivity issues

I have a new galaxy tab A 9.7. It connects beautifully to the internet everywhere except at home where it is quirky. Sometimes making connection and sometimes not. Every other wireless device I have works fine on the home network

The home networks is a F ast1706 wireless modem on a Windstream account.

Any thoughts

Also, log into the router's settings (using your computer's browser) and try disabling IPv6 temporarily. And make sure QoS isn't turned on.
