How can I get into n reset a phone that has a fingerprint lock code

I recently got a phone but it has a fingerprint lock code I cant get it unlocked. My daughter bought it from someone she met through a friend. What can I do

Unfortunately there's not much you can do. There are different security features to protect our phones and our personal data just in case they are stolen. Fingerprint lock, backup password, Google credentials ... Without this information you have a paperweight on your hands. Sorry.

Second thoughts, there's something you can do, explain to your daughter that's not the best way to buy a phone.
