How can I get more volume out of the speaker?

I find the media volume isn't loud enough. Especially if there is a lot of background noise. I know it's capable because the ringer scares the crap out of me sometimes it's so loud.

However, I tried to watch netflix the other day while waiting in a semi noisy environment and the phone was all but useless. (I don't like headphones).

Same goes for the speaker phone in the car when at highway speeds.

Suggestions?

Volume+ has a (fixable) problem with poweramp, which I love. It also FC'ed twice within the first 5 minuted

The other app is speaker boost, which, so far, has worked fine for me.

I find the speaker to be more than loud enough but volume + may be what you are after.

For those using volume +, what setting are you using? I'd like to make it as loud as possible without damaging the speaker.

Thank you! I was really hoping I'd see this reference somewhere in the thread...

"Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?"
"...These go to eleven.."

I have the same question. I have volume plus, work it with a variety of programs but was curious what your settings were on your s3
