How can I get out of safe mode?

stuck in safe mode

ive got a htc one m7 and a couple days ago i dropped it in water so i dried it out and left it. just turned it back on now and it goes straight to Hboot so i thought the -volume button must be stuck so i turned it off and back on again holding the +volume and it took me to my homescreen but in safe mood ive tried multiple ways of restarting the phone to cancel safe mode but nothing seems to work and the phone for me is practicaly useless without 3rd party apps... any help???

Welcome to Android Central! It might be related to water damage, which is probably irreversible. You could try doing a factory reset, but if it keeps booting into Safe Mode, then you may not be able to fix it.
