How can I get rid of some purple spots on the screen of my Note 4?

Re: Help purple spots on the screen note 4

Hello,
Three months ago I bought the Galaxy note 4
The device works great, but yesterday morning I saw a few small spots on the screen and after a few hours the spots the stains began to spread on the screen.
I just want to to understand what just happened to my device
Would appreciate help thanks!

My Note 5 started with a very faint battery print on screen and now I have purple spots all over that area. NEVER dropped phone! It is rather new and I do believe this is a Samsung problem and not caused by anything else!!!!!

I have the Galaxy Note 4 and yes its a little beaten and battered, but this problems is only just starting to show for me and I've had it just sitting on it wireless charger for the past few days and its just started to show, I've also been having issues with charging. Is this sort of thing perhaps related to some sort of short within the phone?

Help! Purple spots taking over my Note 5 screen - no other damage to my phone

This just happened to my Samsung 7 and it's only 3 months old. Samsung will not replace it because they said it's damaged. It has not been dropped at all.

I was so glad to find this discussion, because I have been unable to figure out what on EARTH could be happening to my phone screen. I have been so careful with it - but it has been a very cold winter, and another post mentions how cold may have caused the purple spots, which are spreading.

Is there any more information out there?
