Question how can i get whatsapp or signal calls to appear on the home screen?

sorry, i don't know where to post this question...i switched from a galaxy S21 to S24. and now if someone calls me on whatsapp or signal, the call is buried. it doesn't show on my homescreen. i have to find it. is there a notification setting somewhere i need to change? thank you!!

1) Go to settings -> Apps -> then choose signal -> Click on Allow Notifications and your choices of types of notifications
2) to get an app on your home screen - go to all apps (appdrawer) and find the App (signal say) Tap and hold on it, then drag it to your home page
