How can I make my Verizon Galaxy S6 work on the MetroPCS network?

Verizon told me that none of their phones are locked to their network. Yet, when I try to make my Galaxy S6 work on the MetroPCS network it does not work. I already tried changing the APN settings as follows:

Name: Metro PCS
APN: fast.metropcs.com
MMSC: http://metropcs.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

All other settings were kept at default and it still did not work. I put in the SIM card, change the settings and I have no service or data.
I am currently using a Verizon Galaxy S5 on the MetroPCS network and it works perfectly after I change the APN settings.

What am I doing wrong??

MetroPCS only allows phones on their network that are bought from MetroPCS. You can bring your own device, but it would be something you bought used from someone else that used MetroPCS. Verizon isn't the issue here, it's MetroPCS.

This isnt true. I have used a Verizon Galaxy S4 on their network and I am currently using a Verizon S5 on the Metro PCS network as well. That is why I am wondering why the S6 won't work too....

If it won't even read the SIM card, ask them to try another card. Any phone should at least read another company's card. (Then it may refuse to use it, but it should read it.)

You have to sway the phone to metro pcs then it work i and do the apn i did it today
