I used the data cable and plugged the micro USB end into my Android phone, and the USB end into the tablet. I was hoping I would be able to read the files from my phone and copy them over. When trying to locate the files using Astro, they don't show up. Is this feature possible?

I don't think it is, yet. However, 3.1 is suppose to bring more USB functionality.

Did you set your phone to Mass Storage Mode or is it still in charge mode?

It's set Mass Storage Mode. I opened Astro and looked in the directories about Home. Could not find any of the files from my phone.

Hope a future upgrade or app will enable this functionality. This would be very useful to copy files to and from an Android phone and the Acer A500

I tried the sync cable on my evo, set mass storage but could not locate the evo files on the acer, interesting, will have to research that issue. But I have been using Bluetooth file transfer very successfully. Have the same app installed on the phone and the tablet and its quick and easy. I have a folder on both the phone and the tablet where I store my own files, each is named either blah blah evo or blah blah acer so I know at a glance with operating system I'm looking at, the evo or the acer, because both systems have the exact same files and file names, saves any confusion.
Larger files do take longer to transfer via bluetooth compared with a direct cable transfer I would imagine. I wonder if there is an app out there that would allow cable transfer on the acer? Will have to look.

What app do you use to transfer the file over Bluetooth. I guess that would be an option for me for now.
