How can I recover a file I deleted?

I accidentally deleted all docments stored under

I was clwaring some unused, unimportant documents and accidentally deleted everything stored in the My Files app (all internal memory -no sd card). My Files, All files, Storage, Emulated, 0 - this is where everything ever done on my tab 3 saved to. There is only one folder I absolutely need but would like to get it all back. Please help. If there is a way without a PC that would be best. I havealready put my tab on airplane mode to prevent anything overwriting the space. Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to Android Central! That's going to be tough. The programs that are available require the device to be rooted, and there's no guarantee it will work. Try programs like DiskDigger or Recuva.
