how can i remove/get rid of phone not allowed mm#6 on galaxy s5

I bought this phone from a good friend of mine and it was locked to at&t so I got and unlock code and put in my metro PCs aim card and it worked but the next day it said phone not allowed mm#6 can anybody help me pleeze.

Call the provider or bring the phone into their store and tell them you need to do an equipment swap. If you call, they're going to need the phone's IMEI number. Dial *#06# on the phone to get it. Some companies only allow the phone you have registered to the account to use the account's SIM. You picked one of them.

I was having this same problem yesterday with a S4 i bought I went to at&t with it. they told me to go to metro pcs because they have my sim restricted and attached to use the previous phone they have registered in their system. Sure enough it was the problem. i was not happy at all when metro pcs told me they have to charge me $15 to switch the phone in their system and $10 for a new sim 2.67 tax= 27.67. so if you have this problem with a metro pcs or cricket sim, you need to go to them to fix it!

This means the phone was blacklisted. Talk to your friend and ask him to pay it off. Until then it won't work and any talks of changing an IMEI number are illegal.
