How can I send GIFs through text messages with my Note 5 (tmobile)

I can't send GIFs via text message to any phone (iphone/android/windows) or any carrier. There was never any issues in sending GIFs with my iphone. Is this a setting I can change or is it an Android/Samsung issue?

There is a difference between SMS/MMS and I Messages. You can send a link if one is available but as far as the stock messanger, no can do.

ugh! Half my conversations were gifs. Some worked. Most did not. Was wondering if there was a work around. Makes me feel like tape is over my mouth!

I've sent many gif files via text.
The only issue may be size. There is a 1MB limit.

I use Textra, it has a bunch built in and sends new ones fine
