How can I share videos from my phone via email?

having trouble sharing videos from the camera

hi all,
i'm new to the phone and i am trying to share some videos taken with the camera.

i hit the share button and it prompts me to "share via Mail, Drive, Facebook, etc"

i hit mail and choose my main gmail, then enter my gmail info....it then tells me

Warning
Authentication failed. please verity username and password.

but the info is 100% correct and then i'll get an email to my gmail account saying someone tried to access it.
it should be so easy to attach a video to my gmail account since it's already registered to the device.
any ideas why?

I just tried to attach and send a video with my Gmail account and had no problem with authentication, however my 30 second high def video was too large for Gmail's 20MB limit.
