how can I stop bloatware updates on my verizon samsung s4

Turned on phone today and it said there were 18 updates needed, 12 of which are aps we never use, nor will ever use. This happens every couple of weeks. How can I stop it?

Most updates come through Playstore. Go to your Playstore settings and turn off auto updates. You can also select which app can update in Playstore simply by unselecting it's option to update.

Go into Settings, General, Application Manager. Locate the apps you want to disable and (one at a time) open the entry, uninstall updates then disable the app. This will keep the app from running, it will disappear from your app drawer and it will keep it from showing in your list of updates from Google.

I would still do what nahoku suggested, if you haven't, it helps to control a little better when apps update.
