How can I stop Mobile installer from running in the background

I have tried to to stop mobile installer from running in the background after an update.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Where are you seeing it run in the background? Keep in mind that many system apps and processes may be kept in RAM by the system to make things more efficient, so this is most likely normal behavior.
