How can I stop my Samsung Galaxy from shutting down and restarting?

Samsung Galaxy restart problem

My Galaxy S4 (less than 2 yrs old) keep shutting down and restarting. Tried putting in a new battery but than didn't help. Will go a week or so and not do it and then may reboot 20 30 times within 30-45 minutes. Any ideas???

Welcome to Android Central!

It could be something software wise or hardware wise. You could try doing a factory reset of your phone to eliminate software issues. If you go that route I would definitely make sure you back up all your info to your computer.before you do the reset.
