How can I take my Samsung Core Prime off safe mode without using volume down button?

My cell is stuck on safe mode. I've tried re-starting it, using the pull down menu option, and factory reset with no success. The volume down button doesn't work, I think it might be stuck on volume up. I was told I'd have to power cell back on holding both power and volume down buttons together, but it is not working. Is there any way to fix volume button myself or a different method to take safe mode off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have limited funds and can't afford to pay someone to repair it.

Thanks.

The volume can be turned up but not down, but button still clicks when I push it and doesn't feel stuck.

Welcome to Android Central! I think the problem is that the Volume Down button is stuck in the pressed state, because that's how you boot into Safe Mode. If the phone constantly thinks the Volume Down button is pressed, you'll never be able to boot into anything but Safe Mode. You'll have to bring it to a repair shop, or contact Samsung if it's still under warranty.

The Vol Down button itself doesn't have to be physically stuck. The actual contact for the Volume Down might be faulty, and constantly registering a press.
