How can I unlock a bootloader on a phone that has a custom kernel?

So i managed to relock my HTC One V while forgetting that i had a custom kernel on it, now its stuck without a rom and no way (that i know of) to unlock it. I have tried RUU and that has led nowhere, and since my HBOOT is 1.57 a lot of problems have risen.

Nevermind, i got the idea to go throught the htcdev.com unlock bootloader instructions again and it worked. i hope if somebody is having the same problem that they find this.
