How can I update TWRP 2.4.4.0 to the newest version?

I have TWRP 2.4.4.0 installed.

When I place a newer version of the TWRP .img file into the internal SD or external SD card TWRP fails to recognize it even after I reboot recovery.

I installed TWRP manager but when I try to install busybox it says it didn't install correctly.

Is it safe to use Odin to update TWRP?

Download the new version again - a bad download will keep it from installing.

As far as using Odin, read the instructions that (should have come) with the download, or on the page you downloaded from. If you don't see any mention of Odin (which can only be used on Samsung phones, so code written for general purpose, like TWRP, usually doesn't use it), don't even try using it - or you could brick your phone.
