How can I upgrade my "internal" formatted SD card to a new SD card (without rooting?)

I have a slower SD card and bought a newer faster one, but I need to back things up I think, and then do a restore on the new SD card?

Two things:
1) Which is the best backup software that actually will backup apps and data? I look at the reviews and many seem to only partially back up.
2) I tried a couple, but because the app is stored on the internal storage, it wont run when I move to the new SD card, and if I reinstall the software, it wont show the saved file (even though I found it before on the phone storage side, not the SD card side).

Anybody done this?
