I get this wall paper when phone is locked. What's this. ..a virus? How can i rid of it?

Installed 360 security a month or two ago. Lemme check others. .

You'll get that crap from Cheetah Mobile Security app. It got so bad I had to uninstall it.

After removing 360 security those ads were gone. Woo hoo.

But is there a similar app that can boost the phone performance without these other crap?

Glad you managed to fix it! These so called booster apps can do more harm than good and most of them will fill your phone with adware. Don't rely on them.

360 security had great ratings. ...that's why i used it. What a pia!
