How do I add tracks to my phone to transfer to my Galaxy watch?

[Android Central Question]

I got a Galaxy watch recently and I am having difficulties transferring tracks over to the music app. I go to settings click on add music and then choose to import tracks. When I get to the tracks screen there is nothing to be imported except for a couple of ringtones. How do I get my music from Google Play into the tracks section so I can transfer some music over to my Galaxy watch? TIA!
