Yes I'm using stock. Once I open my browser and push menu I don't have a settings option.

have you tried downloading CHROME from the play store and using it? it is very nice and easy to use. (just a suggestion)

I set homepage on internet for google ( or anything ! ) and every time I open it, it opens with some obscure web site, when I check the url, its still set at Google - ideas please !! Oh, its S3 mini

Are you using your stock browser as well? Also what device? The answers above should be able to help you as well.

Its Samsung S3 mini - sorry what is stock browser !!

Stock browser is just the browser that comes loaded onto the phone. You can get different browsers like Chrome, Dolphin, and there's many others.

If you're using the stock browser (aka 'Internet'), when it's open press the Menu button (the lighted button to the left of the physical Home button), select Settings -> General -> Set home page
