Re: how do I change individual notification sounds per app

These settings are usually within the app itself. Check the settings in the NFL Network app for notifications.

There is an app on the play store called megasound that allows you to change notification sounds.

I have used MegaSound but now use LightFlow. Controls for each app: sound, a second reminder sound, the flashing light color and speed, adds a pop-up message if you want, and if you want it will read each message out loud, and a few other tricks. Great app.

UPDATE REQUEST:
I know this is older thread but I'm hoping someone can tell me if you've either

a) tested any of these apps with the sketchy permissions and find which one(s) still worked fine after blocking those indiv permissions

and / or

b) can provide some safer alternatives.

I need this especially for kik.

Thanks!

I am currently using LightFlow on my LG V30.
Yes, it asks for a lot of permissions, but it seems to be all related to what it can do with/for/to the notifications.

I have all the permissions turned off except for the "access storage" since all I want it to do is play sounds. Works fine that way.
