The receipt they gave me when I placed my order gave a ship date, it was about 4 weeks out (6/28 order, 7/26 ship). I called after 2 weeks and got the same date. I called yesterday and a very irritated CSR (because I was calling again apparently) told me that it would ship on the original date or maybe sooner or maybe later (extremely useful info!).
Today I got an email indicating that it shipped today, 3 business days earlier than originally indicated.
What time did they send you the notice? Also what region of the US are you in? Finally, did you happen to order accessories? (I have a theory that it delays your order slightly)
I'm a 6/28 too and I've gotten the same "useful info" with the exception of the irritated CSR and the actual shipping notice.
Also, how did you place your order? When I ordered my receipt gave me little to no info. I had to call and ask what my order number was.
