Hi

Sorry to keep asking questions as I am learn Android.

If I want to save a whole paragraph of text copy for online instruction, how can I save as a txt file on my Galaxy A15 5G with Android version 14?

I look around, I don't see apps of any .txt or Word or any of those program, so there is nowhere for me to paste and create a text file and save in My Files.

Is there any apps for creating text files that is free?

Thanks

There are a few ways.
Highlight by pressing down and holding in the paragraph, and adjust the popup parameters to include all that you want.
Select Copy.
Open a email, file, or pdf app, and paste it.
Good luck

I download the google #notepad, I can copy and paste a big paragraph of words onto the notepad, but I can't find a way to save it as file in the phone MyFiles.

I see Microsoft 365, are they free and they just try to goat me into paying?

Any suggestion which free one to download? I just need a place to paste what I copied from website and save it in a folder. Later I can hook the phone to the laptop and get the file. That's all I want, nothing fancy.

Thanks

Or use email as suggested and not need to hook 2 things up.
Ha ha, I know, I am paranoid, I put and link NOTHING from the phone to anything important. I don't use any security, just swipe the screen to open, no bank account, not payment, I don't even use my play email on the phone. i set up one email just for the phone that absolutely going nowhere and not using it. No social account or anything. Mainly just to read news, call and text with grand kids. So I don't do email on the phone. This is just a play thing to show grandpa is not too old.

This is really like a challenge and exercise of the mind for me, I am on computer all day long, I don't think I'll be playing with the phone everywhere after getting provision with it. I don't play video games of any sort.

I just download microsoft Onenote, it's free and microsoft. So it should be safe. I yet to learn anything about it.

Thanks
