Deleting 'Picasa' images from my mobile

Good morning.
Trying to delete 'Picasa' images from my Samsung Galaxy phone followed advice to
un-tick in my gmail account. When accessing 'Gallery' again they are still their and the dustbin icon does not show when I have held and ticked the image. Can you please help.
Thank you

Re: Deleting 'Picasa' images from my mobile

Welcome to Android Central! Use the Photos app (the one with the pinwheel icon) to delete those photos, since they're probably in your Google+ Photos/Picasa album in the cloud. The stock Gallery app usually doesn't allow you to delete cloud photos.

You could also go to your Google+ Photos page on the web and delete the photos there. If they still show up in your Gallery, then go to the App Manager, select Gallery, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open Gallery again, and wait a few seconds for the database to rebuild. Those photos should be gone.
