how do i fix 'message not sent' on huwaei p20 pro

[Android Central Question]

My p20 pro will occassionally give me this message when i send text messages. it doesnt seem to matter if they are long or short. I have tried to fix this using a tutorial for android but the menu options are not in the same place and i cant seem to make it work.

I am told that sometimes the messages do go through regardless and sometimes they dont. its rather frustrating and impairs the enjoyment of what is otherwise and incredibly good phone

any advice would be much appreciated

That is usually a connection issue or a carrier setting issue. If it occurs with good signal, and you've rebooted while clearing the cache partition, call 611.
