How do I fix screen pixels blurry when gaming?

Hi everyone. The exact same thing has started happening to me. Two days ago. Works for a couple of minutes after a re-start. Downloaded new games and same thing. Samsung Galaxy S6. Anyone seen a fix yet? This is the only place I've found it mentioned.

Hello again, so I see I am not the only one with the same problem.. So I had done factory reset and it helped for 2 days, now the problem is back, also as someone mentioned already I did a test and I noticed, the problem has to be with Game Optimizing Service, since everytime I delete it I can launch the games again, but thing is not for long cause the program comes back alive... So it has to be some problem with updates most likely

Follow my steps above. The problem hasn't returned no matter how much I reopen the game. It actually works.

I have the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge with the same distorted picture issue but only in the game apps. I've done most of all the clearing and reseting but not the factory reset. All this started a few days ago as well.

Pretty much what Arctic Icez said did the job for me, except that to me it fixes the problem only for a bit, but if I keep uninstalling game optimize service I can play all the games till the next time I need to uninstall it. I guess it have to be the problem with updates to that app or smth, so most likely we need a fix for that or as someone said to update from marsmallow to newer version.

i found a fix!!!!! ( well for marshmallow and below users ) if possible just update to nougat! i did it 2 days ago and now i have had NO problems WHATSOEVER... Please tell me if this works for any of you? Best of luck to you all!

Updating to Nougat is what it takes to fix this problem. Im using a galaxy s6 and started having this problem and once I updated everything was fixed! If you're having trouble updating just download Smart Switch on your pc https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...%2Fowners%2Fapp%2Fsmart-switch&token=hagEunhu
It makes everything so much simpler and its from samsung so you dont have to worry about third party apps. I kept checking for updates on my phone and it was telling me there were none but i was running 6.0.1 which is marshmallow. Nougat is 7.0 - 7.1.2 Smart Switch also lets you have a full backup of everything on your phone on your pc so if something were to happen to your phone you can restore everything on a new one!

But I have to add that you had to Block the automatic updates in Play Store and that was a PERMANET FIX, because after a while of doing all the steps the games comeback to be pixeled when the update for "Game Optimization Service" get the last updated.

The update to system app 'game optimizing service' is the issue.

Go to settings, app manager, show system apps (under menu buttonin upper corner).
Find 'game optimizing service',
Clear data and cache.
Force close, disable and uninstall updates if possible.

To prevent it reinstalling/reactivating,
Get app from playstore called 'package disabler pro'. I believe only the paid version ($.99) blocks system apps.
On package disabler pro,
search for 'game optimizing service' and block the app.
Restart phone.

I did not need to do any other special bootloader wipes.

turn off 'auto update' on galaxy apps and disable the optimizing game service..
go to..
-settings
-applications
-galaxy apps
-auto update apps (turn off)
-then go back to applications
-application manager
-find game optimizing service
-disable
-it will prompt you to uninstall updates (uninstall)
-restart your phone
i have s7 edge and it works for me
