How do I fix the "underwater" sound of my Galaxy S8+ that only comes from using an auxiliary cord?

I've tried many different cords and speakers and they all have that cunderwater" effect on the sound.

Did you try adjusting the sound settings on the phone? Dolby Atmos, primarily, can affect this greatly. Also, check that the volume is set appropriately for the receiver/speaker you're using (some will sound very bad if your phone is set to full volume).

If the sound isn't as bad with wired headphones, and I know you tried different cables, but it might be an impedance issue and a different cable might be needed (for example, cables that are too long might introduce signal distortion and even act as an antenna, picking up stray radio signals, or cables that aren't made with quality materials might not have the right impedance needed for adequate sound between the device and the receiving equipment).
