How do I get into my phone if I lost my password, I only have 3 try's left?

how do I get into my phone if I lost my password I only have 3 try's left

Phone got shut down I use my thumb print to get in but say's I have to put my password in before I can unlock it then I can use my thumb. I can not remember the password to get in and used all but 3 tries. I don't want to lose all my data in my phone.
